Here are some of my favorites. I’m looking forward to their wedding next month!!!

When I started thinking about the calendar, I couldn’t help but be drawn in by the calendar year. Call me superstitious, but the year 2013 sounds so mischievous. In keeping with the spirit of the number, the theme of next years calendar will be “Mischievous Villains of Anginet Photography”.  I think a lot of you will be very excited about the guidelines for the theme.

Here’s the skinny:

Each month of the calendar needs to contain at least one Female Cosplayer. Male Cosplayers are welcome to team up with some of our vixens to enhance the story of their photo and costume. Months may also contain more than one female. Multiple Cosplay outfits should work together in a theme. Examples of this would be: Little Red and the Big Bad Wolf, Evil Queen and the Huntsman, Alice and the Mad Hatter. Think outside the box with this…remember that females can adapt a traditional male character into a female one (and vice versa).

Each month needs to contain at least one Villain.

Each month should have a dark fantasy feel to the image. Most of this is my job, but I want the Cosplayers to be aware that I’m looking for sex appeal and fantasy costumes.

All costumes must be original and may not contain licensed symbols. The costumes should be more conceptual in nature.

Cosplayers that are selected to participate in the calendar must be willing to sign a model release. This allows me to use your image for the calendar and for other marketing. For an exchange, selected Cosplayers will receive all of their final images with the personal printing rights. They will be able to share, print, or display their photos for personal use.

Helpful things to know:

At times someone who is photographed may not make it into the calendar. Don’t take offense to this. I may use your images in another capacity later. Everyone selected to be photographed will receive their images regardless.

Summer is usually very busy for me. Please be patient with me as scheduling may be difficult with weddings, baby births, etc.

Everything I photograph is on-location. While your making the perfect costume, think of ideas on good shooting locations. I will do the same.

I may ask you to use my hair stylist or makeup artist. Keeping that in mind, don’t invest in expensive wigs or makeup until we establish what’s best for the image together.

Clarisse and Darin make an amazing couple. They are so happy. They really know what being a couple is all about. There were lots of smiles and kisses to capture.

I will be photographing this lovely couples wedding later this year. I am very excited. They are a wonderful couple and we will have soooo much fun!

The boys showed off their plane (which has to be one of the coolest toys I’ve ever seen), played games, read, ran around and tackled each other. Boys will be boys, and don’t you just love it?!?!

Here are my favorites.

There were a lot of highlights from this wedding. A few of my favorite moments included a Shot-Ski, a terrifying ride up the ski lift, the Corona Flip and watching Jessi snowboard down to the ceremony. It was a wonderful day. I’m excited to share it with you now.

Oh, Canada! The ski lift was a new experience for Ashley and me. We made it through it, with a great story to tell.

Sarah’s cousin gave one of the most incredible services I’ve ever heard. I only cried about 1,000 times.

Sarah’s family welcomed Jessi into the exclusive IMAC (I married a Callahan) group.

Sarah & Jessi – Thank you so much for hiring me to photograph your wedding. It was so nice getting to know you. I hope you will come to Colorado to visit us often. I wish you a wonderful future together with a lifetime of happiness.
