This beautiful newborn belongs to two very dear friends of mine. It goes without saying that I was very excited to meet and photograph this gorgeous baby girl. I photographed her on Valentines Day. I have to say, it’s probably the best Valentines gift I’ve ever been given.

Last Sunday was Will’s first birthday. It seems like yesterday that I was photographing this lovely family at the hospital, waiting for his arrival. It’s amazing how quickly a year flies by. I was very excited to be hired to photograph his first birthday. It was so much fun seeing how much he’s grown and all the things he can do.

Playing in the snow

I have really been enjoying photographing families this winter. My clients have been super easy to work with, and a ton of fun! I love including the activities in the photo session. It makes such a big difference for the kiddos.

This family was photographed while playing in the snow, on the playground and with each other. I love how natural they all were in front of the camera. A family after my own heart.

For obvious reasons, I had to ‘end’ on this one…

Baby Will’s 1st Christmas

Yesterday I photographed Baby Will. Oh my goodness…he’s getting so big! I can’t believe how much he has changed in just a few months. He has teeth, he’s crawling all over the place and is very close to walking! His first Christmas will be this year, and in January he will be one. Time really does fly.

One thing hasn’t changed about Mr. Will…he’s still super expressive!

It was a cold day yesterday. Probably far too cold for photographs, but this awesome family braved it anyway! It was such a fun session. Even though the kiddos were freezing, they still managed to find their best smiles. We incorporated one of their favorite past times…football!

Last Family Before Vacation

I can’t believe how busy I’ve been this week! The holidays are right around the corner and a lot of families have been anxious to get a session done for their annual Christmas cards. It’s so much fun to shoot all these families! I have been having a great time. Tuesday I will be leaving for Utah for a week. I am really looking forward to spending thanksgiving with my own family. Before I leave, I wanted to get all the recent sessions posted.

Here are my favorites from today. This is my first time photographing this lovely family. I think they did a great job!

The next two pictures are very similar, but I wanted you to really get a feel of the sisterly love. Nothing quite says it like a smooshed hand.

I had a lot of fun today with my friends, Mike & Skeeter. We had an awesome family session today with their two beautiful daughters. Although it was very cold, they were troopers! We took advantage of the cold with blankets, hot chocolate, and lots of playing.
